Nice place,food was OK and ideal for lunch(we were there on pie day)Have been before and will return again.
Been to this pub on a few occasions and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The manager, Nick is brilliant and the atmosphere was great. We ate lunch there on a Monday and my kids thoroughly enjoyed the mountain of profiteroles for desert. The food was delicious and excellent value. Great pub. Will visit again soon.
We were a party of 24 who dined in the week leading up to Christmas. The staff were really friendly and the service was very efficient for such a busy period of the year. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the three curses were served without a hitch.
I can't understand some of the reviews listed here as my wife and I are regular visitors and have always found the food tasty and well cooked. The staff are always courteous and friendly. Ignore the other reviews and give it a try. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
Filthy baby changing room covered in urine, used by men we saw several use this facility too lazy to walk upstairs to gents. Shame this can't be locked like other Wetherspoons. Food arrived in stages. We were an enjoyable meal and had to ask where the chips and onion stack were. Beef and Ale Pie chewy 3 pieces of beef. Hot chips, cold peas. Onion Ring Stack cold. Fish and Chips very greasy. Cold venue. Everyone in the bar had outside coats on Ladies toilets need cleaning. Avoid if wanting to eat out with family.
