The food was very good - I had the fish and chips and would certainly recommend it! My friend had the burger which she also enjoyed. The service was good and the prices were reasonable. It was very busy so I would recommend
Beer was kept poorly and overpriced. Wonderful setting and spacious but needs some imagination and someone who knows how to keep a good cellar. From other reviews it appears a few lessons in the kitchen could improve things. Very disappointing.
Service very good but chosen dish very disappointing. Beef Bourguignon consisted of loads of broccoli, peas and mash but only 3 pieces of beef no bigger than the size of chips. Hardly any sauce which is the essence of that dish. It looked like left-overs. The other point is that the pub needs a good clean. The menus were filthy and sticky. The toilet door had dirty hand marks all over it and the toilet floor looked like it hadn't had a good clean in a while.
Slow service from bar and kitchen (was not busy at the time).Had not been before, so we did not know it was seat yourself and order at the bar. The staff saw us but did not inform us of this system.Food quality is poor:- Burnt burger meat.- Had to send 2 main meals back because the salad/vegetables were brown (old salad).- Portions slightly small for the price you pay. Will not be visiting again and do not recommend.
Excellent breakfast place we had their full English and can recommend it. Location is perfect to start a day. We had cycled in here from Richmond park entire Marina is just breathtaking, lovely place.
