Great location and welcoming atmosphere. However, unlike previous visits, the food was disappointing (fish and chips) but in fact could only find large butter with less than 5% fish (Dec 2018)!
Very nice place for eating and drinking, quite, clean and staff is super cool. Very friendly and active. Food is high standard. Highly recommended.
Nine ladies visited this pub having been there many times before. Up to now service and food have been good. Unfortunately we felt that food standards have dropped (only one chef attending) and left disappointed. Hot drinks were lukewarm and had to be returned. Four of us paid 2 each for parking then realised it was free. In the past we could have had parking fees returned on meals. However we could not be refunded by the bar staff. The heating was off in our section which added to us moving after the meals were eaten. We may not return in the future!
Came here for a Christmas Day meal. The Meal was one of the best we have ever had on Christmas Day. The staff were fab and put up with all of our family Christmas antics. Thank you.Very relaxed. Well priced. Well recommended
Second time, food is not available, within a fortnight.Port show, if you cant serve good, dont have the menus out. Regularly attend this pub, but if they consider small Christmas partys more important, may take my custom elsewhere.
