THE WORST DRY CLEANERS KNOWN TO MANKIND. Dress returned in worse condition that it was dropped off and then they play silly buggars! I dropped off my beautiful new dress to be cleaned on Wednesday, specifying it was new, and needed for a ball on the Saturday. When Friday came around, my partner went to collect my dress only to be told there had been an issue and that it was not in the store we had dropped it off in, and was in fact in Richmond (?). But the escapade worsens; not only was my dress inaccessible, it was RUINED! During the cleaning process, the tags inside the dress were not removed and this meant that the plastic melted into the material. We were told it was on the back for the dress, but upon inspection, on the day of the event, it was ALL OVER the dress - front and center, under the arms, on the back and they hadn't even managed to cleaned the marks of the bottom (obviously had be dragged on the shop floor before I bought it, the whole reason for getting it cleaned anyway). The store worker was sincerely apologetic, admitted liability and advised we were due compensation. When we filed all the correct forms to receive said compensation, we were met with a barrage of lies and made to run around in circles. It is over 3 weeks since I collected my dress, and I am still being told that our compensation will be in the shop the next day. I had to buy a new dress, because my first was entirely unwearable, so I am now two EXPENSIVE dresses out of pocket, and the buggers have still got the dress! On several occasions we have been in to the store, to be told that someone has taken the form to the Richmond store, and it cannot be resolved until the form is back in Hersham, and then its that the boss isn't there, or it needs to be discussed with someone's sister. The stories go on and on of how this company is trying to weasel out of coughing up duly owed compensation. Please please please, I beg of you, do not use this awful attempt at a dry cleaners. They should be renamed 'Dry Dirtiers' and their sales line could be 'drop it off and it will never be the same'.
