I had never any problems with Ashley Medical Practise. The receptionist is very helpful and always tries to find best solution with appointments.

Dr's are nice, Receptionists are rude and lazy. I have called multiple times to book appointments, they won't open up booking pages, they don't give any reason as to why. They have no empathy naturally and obviously need training. When it comes to health its a really touchy subject for most people... Surely if they were kind and helpful patients would be kind and happy back on the phone making there day happier and there next call nicer. Everybody that works in health care whether a Dr or receptionist should be kind and helpful. I have never known anything like it. I am sure they are lovely nice people but please please just be as lovely as you can when your working in health don't make getting an appointment so difficult that you add extra stress to patients.
I have just been for blood tests and the room was filthy. The woman doing the tests hadn't cleaned up the biohazard materials from the previous patient and then dumped my needle in the same dish that had been used for them. When I questioned this she took the needle out of the used dish and got another one off the side to put it (same needle) in and said that was clean. She then lifted up the tray of biohazard waste and dumped it on the side. There was some cotton wool underneath this dirty tray which she proceeded to pick up and try and clean my skin with ready for the needle, at which point I left. I told reception and they said if I wanted to complain I should put it in writing. No apology, no questions or concern. When I asked who to write to they refused to give me a name.
