Hersham is located in the town with the same name and is used by Southwest Trains. Hersham is a terrible station. Not only does it not have staff, the station is gritty and smells, the station only has two benches on each platform. I recommend using Walton-on-Thames instead.
its a Shame - there are 2 plateforms with maybe 2 benches each, no toilets, no one to help you if you need assistance. My advise to you would be to travel from/to walton on thames and walk to hersham
