I am keen to support local business but am very disappointed with this pharmacy. I've just had a baby & my hands are bone dry from washing them all the time. I bought some Vaseline handcream from there a couple of weeks ago, got it home, squeezed the tube & it split at the top & all down the sides, most of the cream spilt out. I think it must be old stock because the plastic seems brittle & their price tag looks quite old. I decided I should return it as a matter of principle (not the 3.67) and today found a minute to go back to the shop. The manager refused to refund or replace the handcream without a receipt. The implication was that I could be lying about the date of purchase. I'm furious, but unfortunately I cannot find my receipt having gone home & had a good look. Who keeps a receipt for a tube of handcream!! So there is nothing I can do. Anyway, suffice to say, the manager at this store appears happy to sell you old & unusable stock and not so happy to refund you when you realise! AVOID!
