Appalling service, workmanship and overall care for their customers. I wish I could give 0 stars but that is not an option. I would avoid at all costs, not worth the hassle. Speaking from years of experience at this dental practice.
If I could give a big Zero star review, I would. Several years ago, I went to this horrible dental practice, more I would say, a butcher practice. I am not reminiscing in the past, but the bad treatment I receive has caused me problems with my teeth since. I recently had to go to Kingston hospital to have surgery to remove bits of wisdom tooth left by a spanish dentist. This is what happened: This dentist did not read my notes stating I was allergic to adrenalin and injected me several times with adrenalin injections. Then she proceeded to extract a very bad wisdom tooth which had grown horizontal, taking the space of another tooth which had been taken out a long time before. Dentists alsways refer their patient to hospital when a wisdom has to be pulled out, especially when it is a complicated situation like mine was. When she pulled the toot, it broke, the dentist panicked, I fainted, blood went everywhere on the walls, the assistant. I came back to myself, got another injection, fainted again. In the end, the dentist gave up, and sent me home with a huge open wound which was bleeding and bleeding. Three or four days later, it became infected. I went back and was prescribed antibiotics. Eventually the wound closed. This was in 2007. Recently, I had all a bad unexplained infection in the area where the wound had closed. My new dentist at the Whitehouse practice sent me immediately to Kingston hospital where the X Ray revealed that the left behind bits of wisdom tooth were still causing infection. It took me a long time to regain confidence in dentists in general, but my present new dental practice has done just that and I attend my appointments now, not jumping with joy, but without fear.
Today I had my first appointment at My Dentist West Molesey. The practice looked recently refurbished, it was modern and very clean. I was treated by Dr Amir Selim and from the moment I sat down in the chair I felt at ease. Amir has done a fantastic job and I am very pleased with the results. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with questions I had. I would definitely recommend My Dentist West Molesey.
Rude reception staff. Standard though really, most Nhs reception staff have a superiority complex
Following my appointment last Wednesday I now have a mouth full of very painful ulcers - something I have never had in my life! From this I can only assume that the equipment and tools used were not sterilized sufficiently well. In fact, I found the whole place to be rather grubby and I did not appreciate the smell of cigarettes wafting through into the waiting area so early in the morning. Surely a dental practice should advocate a no-smoking policy? I shall be finding an alternative dentist.
