I agree with below but i didnt fall for the tied into a contract malarky - i told Sharon to take me to court if she wanted the money back!
Haven't been there but seen the shop on don't tell the bride and the owner is very helpful and happy to help in an emergency. Well done.
I went wedding dressing shopping this weekend and it was the best dress shop I had been in by miles! The lady working was so lovely and helpful, the only shop to actually pin me into a dress properly so I could see how the finish look would be. I found my dress and I am very thankful to the help I received.
Although Sharon the owner of this company is very friendly and appears to have your best interests at heart beware when buying a wedding dress off her! If you change your mind there is NO way of getting your money back and you are made to pay upfront for your dress instead of giving just a deposit as in other shops. (Although there is a payment plan option but you still are locked into a contract so no way out).A couple of weeks after purchase I decided the wedding dress wasnt for me and I went back into the shop to see what my options were. Well apart from swapping it for a sale dress there was nothing I could do. The dress hadnt even been made and Sharon wouldnt even give me part of the money back. In fact, she took advantage of me liking another dress in there and tried to persuade me to buy it, which I almost did (nearly handing over another 1200 to her). She also lied, telling me the dress was designed by la belle but after researching it Online I found the dress was by Mori Lee (I think she was worried I would buy it from someone else) Luckily I saw sense and after asking her if I could swap the dresses (she still said no) and Sharon still refusing to help me out in anyway I didnt buy it. Looking back, both dresses did not suit me and I feel her selling style is not honest she just wants the money. She reassured me that I would definitely be able to sell my dress online and that I should get most of the money back. The one thing she did do was to get my dress made sooner rather than later (there was still 11 months to go until it was due to be made at this point) . Well I have advertised my dress online on a few well known sites and I have not had any interest at all. And now I am stuck with a wedding dress that didnt even have to be made! I wanted to warn other brides to be that if you find the dress at this shop approach with caution and make sure before you purchase it. Also do not be fooled for her line of it might get discontinued as there will always be other places you can buy it from. Also I was told they were doing a 20% discount on the day If I bought a dress from her but on my recipe it there is no evidence of this at all! (Something I thought that would be added automatically) I do not trust her and so beware!
So many dresses! Had a great experience here trying on dresses, the women who worked that day (think she was called Georgia/Georgina) she was soo helpful, knew what I was eventually looking for. She picked a few dresses which were all stunning. Definitely recommend.
