I always go to Sandy Lane and recommend them to everyone. They do the job and quickly and professionally as possible. It always feels like they genuinely want you to get your car up and running as quickly and safely as they can.
I took my car to Sandy Lane garage after two garages failed to find out what was causing the diesel smell in my car. The mechanic at Sandy Lane put his hand under the filter and it came out soaking in diesel. The garage that serviced my car had tightened the filter housing too tight and split it causing it to leak diesel. I was a bit shocked at the price to fix it but when they showed me the cost of the housing I understood it. Thank you Vauxhall motors for making your parts so expensive.While I was at the garage the manager checked my MOT history and found two advisories about my brake discs. I knew this and the mechanic put my car on a lift so I could see for myself. The discs were very badly pitted, warped and worn and the pads were almost non-existent. I'd been quoted 550 by another garage for just the front discs and pads but as I was already there they ordered the parts and charged me less than 550 to replace both front and back discs and pads. I was very pleased by the price and the service not to mention the courtesy of everybody at the garage. They deserve five stars.
Sandy lane Garage has always done a great job, fixing several problems with my car as well as routine maintenance over the last couple of years. All the staff are helpful and friendly and I would feel confident about recommending them. Thanks guys.
